About Me

Biography

Following a professional education and background in the fields of interiors, architecture and exhibition design I became a lecturer in three-dimensional design before following a passion for stitched textiles.

I focused on developing my creativity in working with fabric and mixed media; meeting the challenge of exhibitions, designing and creating contemporary quilt art and now painting, inspired by my small studio in rural Oxfordshire.

When and where possible I try to share my passion for my creative textile and artwork and love teaching ‘process’ to small groups.

She was such an excellent seamstress, knitter and creator of clothes there was little need for me to sew! During a career change I was introduced to patchwork and quilting in the late 1990’s. Beginning a journey as a creative stitcher having produced many traditional and contemporary quilts.

My work is characterised by attention to detail, design, diversity and variety,
